What Is The Significance of Baby Dedication... ?

The Bible teaches that it is the parents' primary responsibility to their children to know and love Jesus Christ (Deut. 6:4-9). Baby Dedication is an opportunity by commit yourselves to that task. By dedicating your child, our church is committing to do all we can to support and encourage you in your role.

Why Aren't Babies Baptized at BCC... ?

In the Bible, parents brought their children to Jesus and asked Him to pray for them. The little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them (Matt. 19:13). However, nowhere in the Bible do we see babies being baptized with water. This is because baptism is designed by God for those who have made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ. Children are often baptized at our church, but at an older age, after they make a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and can understand the significance of baptism.
