WHO WE ARE

BRIDGEWAY COMMUNITY CHURCH EXISTS TO GLORIFY GOD BY IMPASSIONING HIS PEOPLE WITH A BURDEN FOR EVERYDAY COMMANDMENT AND EVERYDAY COMMISSION LIVING — EC²

AT BRIDGEWAY

When we serve in God's name, it not only impacts those we serve directly, but it also leads to spiritual transformation in our own lives.

OUR MISSION

Is to balance the disciple-making priorities of winning seekers, building believers, equipping workers, and multiplying leaders for God’s glory.

OUR PRIORITIES

KNOWING GOD PERSONALLY - Because a personal relationship with God brings ultimate satisfaction and meaning, we seek to know, love, and worship Him.

AUTHORITY OF THE WORD OF GOD - Because the Word of God alone is absolutely true, relevant, and unchanging, we explore it.

LIFE-ALTERING OBEDIENCE - Because maturity is more a way of life than a way with words, we teach for life-altering acts of obedience.

PEOPLE MATTER TO GOD - Because people matter to God, we're committed to reaching others for Christ locally, regionally, and globally.

SMALL GROUPS - Because God has created the body in such a way that we need each other, we encourage accountability through small groups.

SPIRITUAL GIFT STEWARDSHIP - Because ministry is a team play, we empower God's people to use their spiritual giftedness within the Body of Christ.

DISCIPLEMAKING - Because disciplemaking is the sole nonoptional command of the Great Commission, we train believers on the "How To's" of making healthy disciples of all individuals at their level of spiritual interest.

EXCELLENCE - Because excellence honors God and inspires people, we pursue it.

RELEVANCE - Because God's eternal truths never change, we seek to minister in a culturally relevant way.

LEADERSHIP - Because a church can go no further than its leaders, we identify, groom, and appoint them.

Dave MacKenzie

- LEAD PASTOR

As a child, I accepted God's gift of salvation and I've never gotten over that moment of illogical love and extravagant grace. My passion is to love, lead and feed Bridgewayites with radical abandonment. Bridgeway truly is the perfect church for imperfect people. I'm glad for this because I am the chief of imperfect people. We're also a come-as-you-are place because we're related to a come-as-you-are God. God has blessed me with my bride, Susan, and our beautiful growing family.

- ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Photographed here with her husband Dave)

I joined the Bridgeway team in the fall of 2005. I earned my BS in Christian Education. I love Bridgeway and have enjoyed ministering side by side with Dave over our many years of ministry here. I love being with, and rubbing shoulders with Bridewayites. We have four daughters: Kara, Kaitlin, Bethany, and Aimee.

Ben Shuey

- ELDER

Since a child, I have gone to church, and in my late 20's God found me and I accepted Jesus as my personal savior. My church experience was as a Lutheran where I served in leadership and Bible studies. In 2007 I met my wife Natalie and began attending Bridgeway Church. I enjoy the opportunity to lead as well as to serve as a shepherd to my fellow Christians. I am blessed with three daughters and now, Natalie's two sons. We have 5 grandchildren which are a joy to us.

Alison Randall

- WORSHIP LEADER

Psalm 95:2 reminds us to “make a joyful noise to him, with songs of praise!” From a young age, the Lord’s sweet gift of salvation often took me to the seat of my piano bench where I loved singing unto Him. Fast forward a few decades and the Lord has allowed this joyful noise to accompany Bridgeway Community Church’s melody of praise!
